Health functional food ODM company Kolmar BNH announced on the 30th that it is rapidly expanding its overseas client portfolio and expects overseas sales growth starting from 2026. The recent MOU with Cosway, a subsidiary of Malaysia's Berjaya Group, and achievements at 'Vitafoods Asia 2025' held in Bangkok, Thailand, are seen as signals of this growth.
Kolmar BNH signed a strategic business agreement with Cosway, under Malaysia's Berjaya Group, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the 27th. Berjaya Group is a Malaysian company operating various global brands. Its subsidiary Cosway is a network marketing company with annual sales of approximately USD 350 million (about KRW 500 billion) and over one million members.
Through this agreement, Kolmar BNH will supply health functional foods and cosmetics utilizing its proprietary formulations, Cool Melting Powder and Popping Powder. It also plans to aggressively target the Southeast Asian direct sales market, valued at USD 9.5 billion (about KRW 13.3295 trillion). The signing ceremony was attended by Yoon Yeowon, CEO of Kolmar BNH, and Chryseis Tan, CEO of Cosway.
At 'Vitafoods Asia 2025' held in Bangkok, Thailand, from the 17th to the 19th, Kolmar BNH signed on-site supply contracts for Cool Melting Powder-based multivitamins and two types of men's health products with global health functional food companies. The total contract value is KRW 300 million, which will be reflected in sales sequentially in the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026. Vietnam's Coco&B's collagen and Thailand's Yamito's Popping Probiotic Powder were completely sold out, securing a total reorder of KRW 200 million. Additionally, consultations were held with companies such as Switzerland's BioHealth, Bayer, and Pharmacity.
Kolmar BNH stated that it is solidifying its export base by expanding collaborations with global pharmaceutical companies and large distributors beyond the Southeast Asian market. It is expected to expand Centrum sales through a strategic partnership with global pharmaceutical company Haleon. Following the transfer of 60% of Taiwan's production volume to Kolmar BNH, Centrum Immune Boost, applying its proprietary formulation, was exported to China in May.
According to Kolmar BNH, last year's overseas business sales increased by 13.4% compared to the previous year, with the overseas proportion of total sales reaching 37%. In the health functional food sector alone, the overseas proportion is as high as 40%. In the first quarter performance data of this year, the annual overseas business sales target for 2025 was set at a 50% growth compared to the previous year. It is also expanding its business scope by attempting a high-value-added consulting model that supports the entire process from establishing health functional food manufacturing plants to final sales for overseas ODM companies in regions such as the Middle East.
Kolmar BNH stated that its proprietary formulation competitiveness is the background of its overseas achievements. Differentiated formulations such as Cool Melting Powder, Popping Powder, and Multi Vial are developing into co-development-based partnerships, aligning with the needs of global partner companies to diversify product lineups.
Yoon Yeowon, CEO of Kolmar BNH, emphasized, "It requires long preparation to meet the production capacity level demanded by global healthcare companies," adding, "Securing world-class standards in quality, raw materials, formulations, and automated processes before market growth has become the foundation for global partnership agreements." He further stated, "In 2026, we aim to become the world's No. 1 health functional food ODM company."
