The bio-medical beauty group UltraV (CEO Kwon Han-jin) announced that it held a launch event for the next-generation collagen booster 'ULTRACOL' in Hainan, China, on the 11th.
Hosted by YILING Hospital Group, the event commemorated the first official application of ULTRACOL in China, with numerous authorities and industry representatives from the beauty and medical fields of China and Korea in attendance.
Since its establishment in 2005, YILING Hospital Group has set up industrial bases and service networks in major cities across China with its headquarters in Beijing. It is a comprehensive medical and healthcare group encompassing preventive medicine, rehabilitation medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, medical tourism, and senior town operations. The introduction of ULTRACOL is part of this global medical innovation strategy.
According to the company, ULTRACOL is based on PDO (Polydioxanone), a highly safe biodegradable material. It fills physical volume immediately after the procedure to improve wrinkles and, in the long term, stimulates fibroblasts with PDO micro-spheres to induce natural collagen production, thereby restoring skin elasticity and luster.

ULTRACOL received official approval for medical beauty procedures from the Hainan Provincial Food and Drug Administration (CFDA, hereafter Hainan CFDA) last year. This approval was a significant turning point in securing the legal introduction and reliability of ULTRACOL in the Chinese market.
A representative from Boao International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone emphasized, “The successful introduction of ULTRACOL signifies that innovative medical services of the same level as the world are provided within China.” Ding Min, Vice President of YILING Hospital Group, stated, “YILING Hospital has introduced 119 types of patented medicines and medical devices, providing services to over 90,000 people. The first application of ULTRACOL is a symbolic case that meets national strategies and the health and beauty needs of the people.”
UltraV CEO Kwon Han-jin explained, “PDO is completely decomposed in the body, leaving no residues, which ensures high safety. In addition to volume recovery, it achieves ‘safe and natural’ beauty through long-term natural collagen regeneration effects, rather than ‘fake-like artificial’ beauty.”
The event included a plaque ceremony for the 'ULTRACOL China Doctor Procedure Training Base' and the appointment ceremony of the first officially certified doctors in China. Specialists from Boao Yiling Life Beauty Care Center, Hainan Medical University Affiliated Hospital, and Shanghai 411 Hospital received certification.
This launch marks the starting point for UltraV to strengthen its position as a global beauty and medical brand in the Chinese market and serves as an opportunity for YILING Hospital Group to expand its international innovative medical network. Both parties plan to establish an industrial ecosystem that integrates medical, tourism, beauty, and healthcare, and to distribute high-quality medical beauty solutions throughout China.
