Fashion tech company Textile Design Bank Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin Soo-eun) announced that it has secured seed investment from KingoSpring Co., Ltd., a startup investment and incubation specialist and operator of the Startup Growth Technology Development Project (TIPS).

The company explained that this investment is significant as it recognizes the potential of Textile Design Bank's technology and business model to succeed in both domestic and international markets.

KingoSpring is reported to have focused on the 'Textile Design Export Brokerage Service,' which innovates existing complex distribution stages, along with the recently launched 'AI Textile Design Production Service.' The AI Textile Design Production Service is expected to bring innovation to the fashion and textile design industry by maximizing designers' creativity and shortening the design production process.

Textile Design Bank plans to use the secured investment to improve the performance of the AI Textile Design Production Service and focus on developing web platform features that enhance convenience for designers and buyers. Additionally, it intends to accelerate customized marketing activities targeting major overseas markets such as North America and Europe.

CEO Shin Soo-eun stated, "The investment from KingoSpring, also an operator of TIPS, is an important milestone that demonstrates belief in our vision and potential," and expressed determination to "do our best to bring innovation to the fashion and textile industry by integrating AI technology into the textile design market."

Meanwhile, Textile Design Bank was selected in July for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Innovative Small Business Investment Linkage Support (LIPSⅡ)' government project, which provides matching support for commercialization funds to companies that have first secured private investment. Through this investment and government project selection, Textile Design Bank is expected to lead innovation in the domestic fashion tech industry and rapidly enhance its competitiveness in the global market.
