Fintech start-ups supported by the Korea Fintech Support Center will participate in the “2026 Donga Jae-Tech Show,” which will be held for two days from October 1 at COEX on Yeongdong-daero in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to showcase their technological capabilities to domestic and overseas investors and partners. The participating companies are six in total: PolarPulse, Fractal Technology, Gwanak Lab, SpaceJump, RiskX, and CurrencyUnited.
PolarPulse is an enterprise AI developer that converts data from financial and manufacturing companies into a form in which relationships and business context are connected. Its three proprietary engines based on AI relational data (Stratum, Polaris, Pulsar) link processes from data organization to evidence-based search and task execution. It is conducting paid proof-of-concept projects with POSCO Group, SK Innovation, and others. It has raised a cumulative investment of KRW 500 million from Antler Korea. It will also take part in global start-up events such as TechCrunch Disrupt in October and Slush in November.
Fractal Technology operates “CookieDeal,” a platform that supports corporate sales. It creates targeted lists using financial and public data and detects signals of corporate changes to inform sales priorities. It is also a resident company in the 9th cohort of the Korea Fintech Support Center’s Fintech Cube. It has received a successful commercialization assessment under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ TIPS R&D program and has been selected as a top company in the Seed TIPS and Early Start-up Package programs. It has also entered into a business partnership with Korea Technology Finance Corporation for M&A intermediation.
Gwanak Lab is a financial decision-making AI company that integrates structured and unstructured data to reduce loss risk. Using a self-developed Small Language Model (SLM) and a multi-horizon forecasting model, it identifies in advance the points in time when risk increases. The same engine is applied to “GLab,” an app for retail investors, and to projects for financial institutions aimed at preventing customer churn and policy cancellations. Its key feature is informing users where the risks in their existing assets are concentrated before suggesting what to buy. It is conducting proof-of-concept projects with banks, credit card companies, and non-life insurers.
SpaceJump has developed “SoSangGonggan,” an AI solution that evaluates and distributes the value of commercial equipment and facility assets. It supports transactions through real-time quotes from professional dealers, secure payments, and AI vision-based automatic calculation of residual value. The accumulated data feeds into alternative credit scoring (CSS) for small business owners and into movable-asset-backed financing. It has been selected as a CMK Impactpreneur by the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation and as an exhibiting and pitching company at CES 2025, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition.
RiskX is a fintech company that analyzes equity-linked securities (ELS) data using AI. Based on data for about 100,000 domestic ELS products, it operates a service that analyzes and compares the returns and risks of products to support investor selection. For financial institutions, it provides B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) that automates ELS-related operations. This year, it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ TIPS program and the Seoul-type Fintech R&D project, and it won the Korea Fintech Innovation Program (KFIP).
CurrencyUnited is a foreign exchange tech company that operates “Qunit,” a foreign currency trading service. Its features include 24-hour free quote trading, exchange rate discounts of up to 99%, and the “Time Freeze” service, which reduces exchange rate fluctuation risk. This year, it was selected for support programs such as iM Financial Group’s Pium Lab and Hyosung Open Innovation.
The Korea Fintech Support Center plans to use this event as a springboard to continue supporting the participating companies so that they can expand their contact points with domestic and overseas investors and partners and translate this into tangible business outcomes.
