Semiconductor design specialist IDEAS2SILICON is expanding its overseas business based on its proprietary design automation platform and talent development system, amid a global shortage of semiconductor engineers.

Established in December 2023, IDEAS2SILICON generated revenue mainly from overseas markets in 2024, and in the first quarter of 2026 recorded results equivalent to its full-year 2025 revenue.

Underpinning this performance are its system-on-chip (SoC) design platform “Seraphim” and an in-house training process. Seraphim is a web- and cloud-based platform that supports a collaborative environment in which engineers in six countries, including Korea, can share design data in real time.

In addition, by complementing existing general-purpose electronic design automation (EDA) tools, it reduces risks in the physical design process and helps new engineers adapt to practical work. The company stated that this has improved engineer work efficiency and shortened training cycles.

At the same time, IDEAS2SILICON has developed a new intellectual property (IP) integration solution, “INTEGRON v1,” which is currently being tested for application to RISC-V-based SoC designs. The company plans to expand support to ARM-based SoC designs with the v2 version to be released in the future.

A representative of IDEAS2SILICON said, “We will continue to introduce solutions that streamline the complex process of semiconductor development by leveraging Seraphim and INTEGRON.”
