Alfee Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Joong-hee, hereafter “Alfee”) announced that it has officially launched ECG Buddy Clinic, an artificial intelligence-based electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis solution specialized for health screening settings, and will participate for the first time in major domestic academic conferences on health checkups.

ECG Buddy Clinic is an AI-based ECG analysis solution that has obtained approval as a Class III medical device (License No. D제허 25-9) from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It analyzes 12-lead ECG data to quantitatively derive five digital biomarkers and is intended to assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing high-risk groups for cardiovascular disease.

From a single ECG test, ECG Buddy Clinic quantitatively provides risk levels for: ▲ estimation of left ventricular systolic function (LVEF) ▲ screening of high-risk groups for coronary artery disease (CADS) ▲ screening for left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) ▲ screening of patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) ▲ screening of high-risk groups for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).

On 22 March, Alfee operated a booth at the 11th Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Health Screening, held at Lotte Hotel Seoul, and will operate a booth at the 35th Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Screening and the 30th Ultrasound Training Course, to be held on 29 March at SC Convention Center, where it will present ECG Buddy Clinic for the first time at academic conference venues. As both events are attended by a large number of health screening specialists, Alfee plans to conduct product demonstrations and introduction consultations.
