GS Global will participate in the “2026 International Green Energy Expo,” which opens on the 22nd, to showcase its comprehensive solution capabilities covering the entire solar power industry and to unveil its future business strategies.
At this exhibition, GS Global will present its product portfolio and technology direction, focusing on GS-branded solar modules. It plans to propose solutions that take into account power generation efficiency and cost-effectiveness, with a lineup ranging from 645W-class modules to high-output 720W-class modules. In addition, it will introduce the technological competitiveness of manufacturers and their future development potential through exhibits related to perovskite technology.
GS-branded modules offer a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year power output warranty (87.4% output retention after 30 years). Through package solutions that link modules and inverters, the company will also pursue customer-tailored supply strategies. It has prepared bundled product proposals for companies aiming to achieve RE100, which is expected to enable a response to diverse energy transition needs.
GS Global will also present its direction for establishing a “circular energy ecosystem.” It will disclose its business portfolio for the recycling of end-of-life solar modules and promote the establishment of a virtuous resource circulation structure. As the lifespan of solar panels is generally known to be 25 to 30 years, the need to build recycling infrastructure to respond to the future increase in waste modules is also growing.
GS Global’s waste module recycling business is assessed as significant in terms of Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G). Environmentally, it can help reduce landfill waste and contribute to greenhouse gas reductions by recovering and recycling silicon, aluminum, glass, and other key materials from solar modules. Socially, it is expected to create local jobs and establish a safe waste management system through the operation of recycling infrastructure, as well as generate energy cost savings through resource recirculation. From a governance perspective, it is meaningful in that it can lead to supply chain management that assumes responsibility for the entire product lifecycle, from production to disposal.
As calls for carbon reduction within global supply chains grow stronger, GS Global plans to support corporate customers in their energy transition through RE100 response solutions.
The company will use this exhibition as an opportunity to identify new customers and expand existing partnerships. The strategy focuses on building long-term cooperative relationships rather than limiting itself to short-term transactions.
A GS Global representative said, “Through this exhibition, visitors will be able to see for themselves the competitiveness of GS-branded modules, the quality guaranteed by the company, and our customer-tailored solutions,” adding, “We plan to present product proposals that can respond to a wide range of business conditions, along with practically applicable solution directions.” The representative continued, “Going forward, we will continue to provide stable and differentiated solutions as a partner that customers can trust.”
Looking ahead, GS Global plans to strengthen its distribution competitiveness for equipment and materials in the domestic solar power market, while expanding its product portfolio and enhancing its capabilities in proposing customized package solutions for customers. By building a diverse range of partnerships through its global cooperation network, the company aims to further solidify its market position and, through expansion into the waste module recycling business, realize ESG values across the solar power industry and seek new business opportunities.
